This Privacy Policy describes how KanjiStack ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our iOS app. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Information We Collect

KanjiStack does not require an account and does not collect or transmit personal information. Your kanji database, study lists, saved lists, progress, and settings are stored locally on your device.

Handwriting & Recognition Data

When you draw a kanji, the drawing is processed entirely on-device using Apple's CoreML and Vision frameworks to check it against the target character. Drawings are:

• Never uploaded or transmitted to any server
• Never stored beyond the current practice session
• Never shared with third parties

Advertising

KanjiStack shows ads via Google AdMob to free users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad delivery and attribution, governed by Google's own privacy policy. Purchasing Premium removes ads.

In-App Purchases

Premium is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment details.

Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers or databases that store your personal information.

Children's Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
